Jason Priestley is no longer the token Canadian in 90210. Shenae Grimes, Dustin Milligan and Jessica Lowndes have become the hottest Canucks on TV's successful spin-off.

With the TV season coming to an end, it's clear that the CW's anticipated spin-off to Beverly Hills, 90210 won over audiences. In its first season, viewers witnessed dramatic highs and lows, including:

  • Annie Wilson's break-up with Ethan Ward;
  • Dixon Wilson's budding relationship with Erin Silver;
  • Erin Silver's breaking point with bipolar disorder; and, last but not least, Adrianna Tate-Duncan's pregnancy.

Nevertheless, the Toronto Star reported that the spin-off has been the subject of water-cooler gossip because of its Canadian cast. With that in mind, check out the profiles of 90210's most talked-about Canadians:

Shenae Grimes: Born in Toronto, Ontario, Grimes has been a professional actor since she was 16. She's most recognizable as Darcy Edwards in Degrassi: The Next Generation. In fact, during an off-season of Degrassi, Shenae earned an internship with Fashion Television. “Fashion is where my heart lies and I love the production side of things," she revealed to vervegirl last year.

Dustin Milligan: Milligan grew up in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories and moved to Vancouver, British Columbia when he was 18. He's appeared on a variety of television shows and movies, including The Land of Women with Meg Ryan and Adam Brody and Eight Days to Live with the O.C.'s Kelly Rowan. Outside of the Hollywood Hills, he's extremely passionate about The Enough Talk, Hurry Up and Do It Already Arts Scholarship Fund, an arts scholarship he established in his hometown.

Jessica Lowndes: This Nelly Furtado-look-a-like is quite the triple threat, says TV.com. Raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Lowndes moved to LA after she finished high school at the age of 18. She made her film debut in The Haunting of Molly Hartley and, according to the CW, her song "Goodbye" was featured in 90210's episode titled Moonlight.

Future Gigs: So what's in store for these budding actors? According to Internet Movie Database (IMDB), Lowndes is currently filming Altitude, a film slated for release in 2010. As for Milligan, the CW recently revealed that he won't be returning next season because his "character had run its course." But luckily for fans, Milligan can be seen in Eve and Extract, two projects in post-production, says IMDB. Grimes doesn't have any upcoming projects. However, on February 17, 2009, Dead Like Me: Life After Death was released in the U.S., which features Grimes as Jennifer Hardick.
